2013 surprised me in countless ways. I met tons of crazy talented people and took part in a lot of seriously awesome projects. I'd have to say I learned more in 2013 than ever before and I can only hope that 2014 will be the same... but with a little bit less stress (a girl can dream!). I traveled all over Oregon this year, and even ventured all the way to Seattle! And even though this year took a toll on me physically and mentally, I have a good feeling that this year will be better. It only seems right to share my favorite photos from this past year and to take a look back at all of the amazing people I met and projects I was a part of. The support from my family and friends has been unbelievable during my time in Portland so far. I was published for the first time ever in Coco Bride's Premier Bridal Issue, soon followed by my work appearing in Dream Factory Magazine, Lost Freedom Magazine, Blur Magazine, Chic Magazine and Substream Magazine (as a model)! I was featured on some amazing online blogs such as For Awesome People , Paper + Lace, On a Bicycle Built for Two, 4Real Equality Weddings and a few more. I have a tendency to look too far ahead in the future instead of enjoying the moment and if it weren't for my family & friends, I would have leaped off a cliff in hopes of uncovering the next step in my life. Or just literally leaped off a cliff. My goal for 2014 is to be present. To stop contemplating what my life would be like if I were somewhere else doing something else. To continue to build relationships with the friends I've made so far. To be patient, calm and happy. To get out of my head and into the world.
