The past few weeks have been CRAZY. My husband, Chris, and I visited Japan for 10 days and then packed up our apartment as soon as we returned and drove 3000 miles across the country. We are now officially based in Richmond, Virginia and we can’t wait to start booking East Coast weddings. We’ve worked over 100 weddings and it’s so nice being able to work with my husband. In the past, our couples have loved our creative take on weddings. Chris spins a variety of vinyl and digital music using turntables and I shoot a mixture of film and digital images. We both have a love for analog processes and we hope that you do too! Cameras & Cats Debut on Youtube! | Photography Tips from a PDX based Fashion & Wedding Photographer

Hi everyone!

I FINALLY released my Youtube Channel, Cameras & Cats!

It's been in the works for over a year and I'm so excited to bring it all to life. The channel will feature interviews with local Portland creatives and their cats, as well as camera reviews and an arts & crafts corner! Our first video was an interview with Lauren Baker, the creative director for She Shreds Magazine. She Shreds is an internationally distributed magazine dedicated to supporting female guitarists and bassists. They've worked with a number of established artists, from Brittany Howard of the Alabama Shakes to Esperanza Spalding to Beyonce's guitarist Bibi McGill. I've even been lucky enough photograph a few of their covers (see below)!

Not only is Lauren a talented graphic designer & creative director for She Shreds, but she's also an amazing photographer. We sat down with Lauren & her cat, Downtown Brown, to learn more about their special bond.

Portland, Oregon Wedding Photography & DJ PackageS | Now booking for 2018!

I seriously can't believe it's already August. In fact, it's basically September at this point! This year FLEW by. I've been a part of the most amazing weddings this year; from the top of Mount Hood to surprise wedding llamas to the clear blue pools at Opal Creek. Not to mention, I got married too! My couples were definitely adventurous this year so I can't wait to see what kinds of weddings take place next year! 

2018 is filling up fast already (so crazy)!
